Blame it on Olivia... she was the reason I had to cancel golf practice yesterday. Abby and I got back on the adoption list a couple months ago not knowing how long we'd have to wait... turns out, not very long. We got the call Thursday afternoon that our birth mother was going into labor, and Olivia was born a little before 10 that night. We got to meet her on Friday afternoon and have been hanging out at the hospital since. We get to take her home tonight after it has been 48 hours. She is doing great and so is her big sister who likes giving her lots of kisses. Please pray for our family as we know this is going to be a big adjustment. We also are not totally in the clear yet as the birth father still has a week to contest the adoption. We trust the Lord has everything in His hands and we just want to stay faithful to Him and continue to give Him all the glory. Looking forward to seeing you all Monday.
