On Saturday the boys were back in action after a layoff that seems to have lasted weeks. The varsity traveled to Orchard Ridge to participate in the Homestead Invitational. The weather could not have been much worse: 40s and WINDY with a drizzle on and off. Out of 18 teams, we finished right in the middle of the pack at 9th. Our team total of 350 wasn't terrible considering the conditions. There were a couple very solid showings from our guys. Here's the breakdown:
Justin: 85- not bad at all considering the conditions. Showing consistent improvement
Aaron: 85- nice round. Right where we need him to be to make a run at regional
Tegan: 88- left the driver in the bag and shoots one of his best rounds ever... and with seven 3-putts, there is plenty of room to go even lower. Nice work Teg!
Russ: 92- he wasn't exactly thrilled by this score but I'm guessing he'll turn it around quickly
Taylor 93- in a little bit of a funk right now, but plenty of time to get things straightened out
We are back in action on Monday with a trip to Donald Ross to face Luers. Should be a good match!
Sorry, no pictures today...
