A pretty rough day all around... We found out this morning that Russ broke his foot while working out last night. We all feel for him as this means he will be lost for the season. He also will now be unable to play in the Indiana All-star game which we were all looking forward to. However, we know that all things happen for a reason and Russell's attitude has been great through this tough time... The golf season must go on! Despite losing our #1 guy, I still feel like this team is strong enough to overcome. We are deeper than we've ever been and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the younger guys step up.
Tonight was the first test for the guys. Fremont paid us a visit as we looked to avoid the storms. The guys played well but came up a little short.
Fremont: 166
BCS: 169
We are still learning the importance of avoiding the big mistakes that lead to big numbers. 169 isn't bad but we again left a lot of strokes out there. Here were the scores for the guys: Aaron Neumeyer was solid again with a 41. Taylor also matched his 41. Justin played well but a 9 on 8 hurt him a little on his way to a 43. Matthew registered his first score counting with a 44. Tegan had 46 and Keegan 47... On JV Ben had a 49 and Ryan and Austin both shot 55.
