On a chilly evening up at Bridgewater, the Boys defeated Lakewood Park 169-186 to move to 3-3 on the year. I told the guys going into the round that our goal was to break 170. Mission Accomplished. (Kind of). Bridgewater is a strange course because it's not very long but there is plenty of trouble out there. Lots of local knowledge and mostly our guys hadn't seen much of it before. Russell led the charge with a 1-under 35. Nice round. Tegan and Glick each fired 43. Not bad. Neumy (with one eye) had a 44. Ryan Von Lanken showing some improvement had a 46. Taylor suffered a rough start on his way to a 47. Keegan had 48 and Austin, Matthew, and Ben all shot 49s. The JV easily picked up their 2nd win of the season posting a 186. That score actually tied the Varsity for Lakewood Park. Good work boys! All 10 Braves golfers broke 50 for the first time this year. Overall it was a successful trip. We'll be back in action on Thursday at Cross Creek vs. Heritage. See you then!
