DeWitt Baffles Brookwood

Senior Zach DeWitt brought the back nine at Brookwood to its knees this afternoon firing an astonishing 32... No, that wasn't a typo- he shot a 4-under-par 32! That marks the first time in my 3 years as coach for a golfer to go under par, and he did it in impressive fashion with birdies on the final 3 holes. To my knowledge that ties the best 9-hole round in BCS golf history. Congrats Squid!

As for the rest of the match, Zach's heroics could only pull out 1 victory for the Braves. We beat Elmhurst (178) but fell short against Canterbury (155) again. We finished the regular season at 8-10, the most wins for the Braves since 2005. The guys are really starting to play well and could really surprise some people this Friday when we put it all together. Keep them in your prayers and we'll see what happens.
