Inspired by a certain young lady in the gallery, Freeze led the Braves and looked good doing it.
On a beautiful day out at Brookwood, Blackhawk Christian finished 5th out of 7 teams in the Woodlan Invitational. The Braves shot a combined 356 as a team. They were led by Junior Taylor Friesen's 84 who finished 10th overall. Zach DeWitt shot an 85 as he finished strongly with a birdie and two pars coming in. It was a solid showing for the guys who only finished 9 strokes out of 2nd place.
The Braves will be back in action on Monday at Colonial Oaks against Northrop. The rest of the week looks like this:
Tuesday: @ Cherry Hill vs. Heritage (JV and Varsity)
Wednesday: Practice at Cherry. Rick Sholund coming out to work on the range
Thursday: Away match at Stonehenge in Warsaw (JV and Varsity). We will be stopping on the way home for dinner. Bring money.
Friday: Practice at Cherry
Saturday: Varsity only-Canterbury Invitational at Sycamore Hills
