After a rough start to the season last night, Blackhawk came out firing Friday evening at Eel River. The Braves bettered themselves by 30 strokes posting a 162 as they soundly defeated Churubusco by 23 strokes. Senior Zach DeWitt led Blackhawk with a 1-over-par 36. Taylor Friesen continued his solid play with a 40 and Aaron Neumeyer carded a 41.
All 13 of the BCS Golf Team members were able to make the trip out on a beautiful spring evening. The guys did a great job and it was awesome day! There was even an unconfirmed report that Freshman Blake Henderson got a phone number at Wendy's on the way home.
The Varsity will be back in action tomorrow morning out at Brookwood for the Woodlan Invitational.
