...Yeah, you know the rest... It was our turn to be on the "winning side" of a heart-wrenching 1-stroke match. After losing to Northrop by one on Tuesday, we returned the favor to Dwenger on Thursday. Unfortunately, we weren't quite as fortunate against host, Leo.
BCS 174 Leo 167 Bishop Dwenger 175
We'll take the split. Considering Dwenger is the defending champion of our sectional and they only lost one player from last year. This is right where we want to be. It is a good barometer for us to see that we truly are a contender this year. Russell decided to join us tonight and that helped out tremendously. He shot a 42 in his first competitive match in nearly 4 years. Taylor was low-man on the team with a 41. Solid round on a tricky course. Glick shot a 43, also not a bad round for early in the year. Tegan shot 48, Keegan 49, and Neumeister struggled to a 51- but I'm confident he'll be back tomorrow. We face Churubusco at Cherry Hill, starting around 4:45. Hoping for a good outing so we can escape this busy first week at 2-2.
