Heritage Triumphs over Braves

The Heritage Patriots paid the Braves a visit to Cherry Hill on Thursday afternoon and shot their best round of the year. The Patriots compiled a 165 as they downed BCS by 13 strokes. The loss dropped the Braves to 3-6 on the year. Squid led the varsity by shooting a 43. Taylor and Justin each had 44 and Aaron Neumeyer fired a 47. It wasn't a bad outing for the Braves but they just couldn't get anything low enough to knock off the Pats. The highlight of the day belonged to 6th man Tegan Wild. No, he didn't slam dunk one from the fairway, but the Freshman did put together a solid round of 42 to lead the entire Braves team. The JV also picked up their 2nd win of the season as they shot a respectable 191. We are off for the next week before traveling to Lake James next Thursday to take on the Fremont Eagles.
