The Braves were in action on Saturday afternoon as they participated in the Canterbury Invitational at Sycamore Hills Country Club. The wind velocity was high which drove the scores up. The Braves had plenty of good holes but it was the occasional big number that doomed them. Taylor and Justin both managed to break 100, posting a 98 and 97 respectively. BCS ended up with a team total of 405 securing last place in the event. However, all wasn't lost as the Braves still enjoyed themselves on a beautiful day. "Somehow I'm still managing to have fun out here," said Senior Zach DeWitt as I drove him back to the 8-tee after he had found his ball out of bounds. At least our attitudes are great! And that does mean a lot. We'll be back in action on Monday afternoon as the Hamilton Marines pay us a visit at Cherry Hill.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE GLICKS FOR PROVIDING DRINKS, SNACKS, AND A SANDWICH FOR THE GUYS (AND ME :)) YESTERDAY. WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT OF BLACKHAWK GOLF.
